Our Living Record, Southern Equality Studios’ multimedia exhibition at Revolve Gallery (July 10–September 1, 2025, Asheville, NC) celebrated queer memory, community, and resistance through photography, sculpture, projection, ephemera, and interactive archival installations. The run included a special Art Talk and Archival Activation featuring storytelling and artist talks by Amanda Simons, Lenny Kyriakoulis, Brennan Henshaw, and Kass Patterson—who also led an archive-building activation, in partnership with WNC LGBTQIA+ Archive.
Community contributions—from family photos to protest signs and personal artifacts—stood alongside works by artists and community members including Kyriakoulis, Patterson, Daniel Simone, Amanda Trader, Crain Cutler, Eduardo Moraes de Oliveira Barbosa, Cara Steinbuchel, Brennan Henshaw, Prince Sueño, Sarah Benoit, Gabe Haaland, Simons, Lindsay Jones, Liz Williams, and more.
